The Safari Boys has been appointed as the agents for the Hibak and Dakar vehicle and kits from the Dakar Designs & Conversions company in the United Kingdom. We have established workshops and infrastructure to import and built the vehicle to your specifications.
The Dakar and Hibak 4×4 is a kit-car and it is built on the rolling chassis of a leading four wheel drive manufacturer. We call it the donor vehicle. Using the chassis, engine, suspension and four wheel drive system of the Range Rover or Land Rover discovery 1. The Dakar 4×4 combines the mechanical excellence of the Range Rover and Discovery with Radical new styling, to create a vehicle for any environment, be that about town, or off road.
DAKAR
The Dakar 4×4 gives you a larger cab and 4 doors. The extra space work well for a cooler box, extra person or pets. The Dakar function well as a sport utility vehicle, daily run around or holiday vehicle at the beach house.
HIBAK
The Hibak 4×4 is a 2 door option with a large load body and storage bin. This gives you an excellent farm workhorse, light utility vehicle or used as very capable transport for overland safaris.
The lightweight body combined with the technology and properties of the Land Rover gives you unbeatable off road handling and high ground clearance. The flat load body provides the base for almost any utility that you want to use it for.
We have a workshop based in Gobabis where we can do the conversion for you.
